Robyn’s music makes me feel like I should be dancing full out, down rain-soaked streets… zipper jacket, ripped sweats, denim and wrist bands, because I don’t care, sooo much.

Oh, and by the way… they’re hiring.

I can’t imagine how different life would be if I’d never been taken to see STOMP back when it opened at the Orpheum Theatre in 1994.

I can’t imagine how different life would be if I’d never auditioned, toured the country and the world, made friends, become a family, fallen in love, joined other jobs, tours and bands, or witnessed a whole generation born, because of this one show. I simply can’t imagine.

And after all these years… it’s just some folks banging on trash cans. 

Last night some of my family banged on trash cans on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

I may have been filled with joy, pride, and love. I might have gotten a lump in my throat. I may have even cried a little. One can never be sure of these things.
